James (Jim) Fullerton

Terrasse-Vaudreuil 1964-2021

It is with deep sadness that the family of James (Jim) Fullerton announce his sudden passing on October 1, 2021 at the age of 57.

Born in Montreal, Quebec to Peter and Barbara (née Taylor) Fullerton, Jim grew up in Hudson Quebec and graduated from College with a degree in Chemistry and was employed at John Abbott College at the time of his death.

Jim leaves behind his wonderful wife Elisabeth, amazing children Cameron, Jessica and Vanessa, as well as his sister Pam, brother Chris (Kim), and their children Alex and Samantha. Jim was predeceased by his mother and father.

Jim will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Equally sensitive and intelligent, Jim wore his heart on his sleeve and was always happy to see friends and family and share his great sense of humor. A musician and avid sports enthusiast, Jim enjoyed spending time on his boat, fishing, and collecting all things guitar and amp related. Jim was so very proud of his children and their many accomplishments, encouraging their enthusiasm for sports, animals, and nature. Jessica and Cameron have special memories of watching the hockey playoffs with their dad and Vanessa recalls the special trips they shared to the “sour skittle arena” for ringette. A true family man, Jim enjoyed outdoor adventures with his family and their walks to the beach with their dog Zeus.

Messages of condolences can be left with (www.maisonfuneraireroussin.com). Due to Covid restrictions there will be no visitation, however a Celebration of Life will be held at a time to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe page https://gofund.me/83e2f95d will be set up in support of Jim’s children.
